Thailand offers a production incentive program administered by the Thailand Film Office (TFO) under the Department of Tourism to support international film, television, and commercial productions filming in the country.

The program provides a 15% cash rebate on qualifying local production expenditure incurred in Thailand. Additional incentives may increase the total rebate to approximately 20–23%, depending on factors such as hiring Thai key crew positions, promoting Thai tourism and culture, and filming in designated secondary provinces.

Eligible projects include feature films, television series, documentaries, commercials, and other screen productions.

To qualify, productions must incur a minimum local spend of THB 50 million (approximately USD 1.4–1.5 million equivalent) in Thailand. The rebate is capped at THB 75 million (approximately USD 2.2 million equivalent) per project.

Applications must be submitted to the Thailand Film Office prior to the commencement of principal photography. Rebate payments are typically processed within approximately 6–12 months after completion of production and submission of the final audited expenditure report.
