The Film in Malaysia Incentive (FIMI) is administered by the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS) through the Film in Malaysia Office (FIMO) to encourage both domestic and international productions to undertake filming and post-production activities in Malaysia.

Under the FIMI program, eligible productions may receive a 30% cash rebate on Qualifying Malaysian Production Expenditure (QMPE) incurred in Malaysia.

Eligible productions include feature films, television programs, animation projects, and post-production work.

To qualify, productions must incur a minimum Qualifying Malaysian Production Expenditure (QMPE) of MYR 5 million (approximately USD 1.1–1.2 million).

Applications must be submitted to FIMO at least three (3) months prior to the commencement of principal photography.
